Gathering at Yvonne's place

On Sunday, the few frens of Hall 2 met up at Yvonne's place at Sembawang. There were not many - just myself, TF and David. Clara was sick and Kian Hui had prior arrangement. But we decided to go ahead cos it had been postponed once, and even getting a common available date between Yvonne and myself would mean sometime Q2 next yr!

Thanks to Yvonne and Daniel for the lunch in which I had a substantial serving, which I shld not have if I were to lose weight (as remarked by David). It was a good opportunity for us to catch up, updating one another on job/mutual fren/travel tales/parenting experiences/etc. I believe the last we all met were at Clara's place during CNY but we missed it cos missus and Xin Yi were sick then, so effectively my last together with them was CNY 2005! You have to see how the children have grown. Btw, Caley would be P1 next yr, Richard would be 4 yrs old come Feb, Xin Yi and Megan would be 3 yrs on 2007.

I believe Xin Yi had an enjoyable outing. We thot she might be shy but with three other children (Chei-Chei, Gor-Gor and Mei-Mei) and + so many toys (esp. the kitchen set), it din take her too long to warm up. Here are some shots taken that day.

It's quite remarkable that our group still maintains contact after leaving NTU on 1997 (the juniors later at '98 and '99). Now that most have settled down and the ties have progress to the next generation, it is even more difficult to find a common date. Really, next yr would be ten yrs I have left Hall 2, and to have gone this far, what else can I ask for? :)
