A sporty weekend

Missus thought that by getting the daughter to exercise more frequently, it would help to improve her appetite, so she kind of rolled out this programme for her:
- Saturday morning, I brought her downstairs so that she could ride her scooter;
- After lunch, we went to the CSC so that she could walk the pool (read my earlier posting to know what's this about);
- Sunday morning, we went downstairs to play badminton with kiddy tennis rackets before we went HDB Hub for lunch (of course we had a change of clothes)

Both the scooter and badminton sessions were rather short, but we were pleased with the daughter's gradual interest with physical activities (rather than staying at home and played cinderellas - i am tired of it!). At least she was less adverse to the glare of the sun and willing to run more. How the exercise had helped to improve her appetite, I am really not too sure. But i am happy that she began to enjoy it. We may even consider registering her for the Kids Run on 1 June 2008 (http://www.kidsrun.com.sg/), and i would really love to have her running with me at MacRitchie though i have not been doing that for years.
