Pot calling the kettle black

I was kind of taken aback after hearing from radio DJ Huang Wen Hong mentioning that celebrities from ROC (i.e. Taiwan) speaking on the programme Kang Xi Lai Le of their "strange, strange" (borrowing the description from Edison Chan) encounter of Singaporeans' English. I mean you could tell from the many many Taiwanese variety shows that most of them could hardly speak good English.

Fortunately, two of the celebrities later issued some form of statements to either apologise or express regrets of what they had said. Perhaps, senses prevailed. Or maybe, our small country is still a significant market which these pple could ill ignore.
