Sunday at Vivo City

Boy, this place is damn crowded. The missus suggested we went there after I turned down her first suggestion of gog Toa Payoh HDB hub, as there was simply nothing much there.
This was our second visit and you cun help be amazed by the number of people, and I could actually spot few familiar faces: a colleague with his two gals, a fren of Hall2, Kian Hui, with his 3mth old daughter and I believe I saw my uncle from afar (cun be to certain though). Finding seats at the Food Republic at level 3 was an enormous challenge too. Pple were actually grabbing chairs to form their empire around a small table they had found. I could safely say that if we did not manage to find a decent place to eat, the missus would not want to come back again.

Btw, the "floating bookstore"MV Doulous (www.mvdoulous.org) has berthed next to Vivo City and we hopped in to join the crowd and got a bargain. There were some good activity books and boardbooks for kids which you could not find in bookstores in town. Their last day should be 24th, so hurry down if you are keen to find a bargain.

For Xin Yi, she was rather happy. Got a cardboard crown from Burger King for her, and a balloon from HSBC, too bad i din get those from Canon and POSB for her which were more colourful. Now, she is napping and if she could wake up early we would go to Botanic Gardens to feed the fishes.
