Play Time!

We went to LingLing & Edwin's place at Punggol on Christmas Day. It had been a while since Xin Yi and Yi Xi met up. The last was at Pasir Ris Park and that was months ago.

We took NEL to Punggol station and transferred to the LRT to the station at Punggol Plaze where we had lunch. Xin Yi seldom tool the LRT so it wasquite a refreshing experience for her, being able to see the scenery as the vehicle ran on the viaduct. I even joked with her that it was like roller coaster.

After lunch, it was play time for the kids - piano, tricyle, Thomas train set, drawing, snack time. When you have two kids running around and going for the same toys, it is "chaos" in the sense that you had to watch out if both of them would run on one another, especially when they hugged - you would never know if they would lose the balance and fell. It happened once!
It was interesting to see how Xin Yi behaved with other children around, cos'it is always us with herself at home. We are kind of concern how she would blend in with other kids, and we are really excited when she starts school next week, as she had enrolled to the childcare centre at the vicinity. It would be a half day class. But if she is able to adapt, we might change it to a full day one (the fee is marginal). Only time would tell.
