Budget airline... think we can forget it.

I was sharing an advertisment with the missus and my parents of the recent promotion by Tiger Airways to Bangkok. Only 2cents for a single trip! Actually I was thinking with such good deals, we should make a short trip to BKK sometime next year - for the food and shopping.
Later, both the missus and the daughter were flipping through the I-Weekly magazine (I Zhou Tan) this evening when the daughter spotted a tiger stuffed toy. She said it looked like Tiger Airways.
Then I asked her in mandarin: would you like to take tiger airway aeroplane again?
She replied: No, because there were no controller, no TV... and I reminded her there were no pillow, blanket and apple juice too!
She said immediately that there was indeed apple juice, but the missus said daddy paid for it, and u din like it at all. U know why? Because this was the Marigold type which was sour, not Berri Juice poured out by SQ or CX stewardess.
I think the missus would like to go Japan for our next trip. Hopefully by then the daughter would be more receptive to food offered elsewhere. Otherwise, everything would be put on hold.
Maybe, Adelaide (with the good wine in Barossa Valley) would be an easier idea to sell. Afterall, there would be plenty of Chinese food there. But I guess she would convince me to go Melbourne instead because her god brother is working there.
We would see... 8P
