Botanic Gardens ... again ..

We were at the Botanic Gardens again yesterday. Again, it was to feed the fishes which was what the daughter wanted. This time round, my parents joined in as well. We thot we could try the food at Taman Serasi Food Garden, but much to our expectation, it was damn crowded. Not surprising as this was only the second day that it had opened. Typical Singapore, rather Uniquely Singapore. Now that the new section has opened, you can now enter the park via Cluny Road. There is a new basement car park under the building shown here. The food centre is also at basement. I wonder why they call it a "food garden"as you cun see the vast greenery. Just walls.

Beside feeding the fishes, Xin Yi also played with bubbles, thanks to the kits which our neighbours gave just before we left for the gardens. Xin Yi was definitely excited. In fact, she was excited about almost everything, as you can see from her expressions in this blog.
I believe the thing which delighted her the most was the new pair of shoes which Ye Ye bought at Tanglin Mall. It has those blinking LEDs which light up when the sole hit sth. Btw, she had a new hair cut yesterday morning. The first time that we brought her to Jean Yip at United Square. Usually, my parents would bring her there, cos' my mum knows the hairstylist Daryl quite, and they would give preferential treatment. Believe it or not, the three generations had the same hair-stylist! Nai Nai, Mummy and Gal Gal! She was in her best behaviour, sitting quitely. Too bad, I did not bring the camera along.
