Time flies

Whenever I saw protest on TV at Hong Kong (this year Anson Chan joined in with the Pro-Democracy march), it would remind me how long I have been in the workforce. Remembered nine years ago, saw the hand over ceremony on the very same day I came back from the first day at DMO. My first day at Kranji Camp, going there with ML, meeting MC and co. The days at DMO was fun, but lots of sweats, hardwork, long hours. I really relished that kind of challenge, but I knew that I could not sustain for long. Stamina and drive would dwindle one day. Thus when asked if I would go back when there was already a likely precedent, I had a clear answer.

Still waiting for my pay cheque to double from my first. Though I dun spend much, except for certain indulgences towards travel, the kitty should have been fatter. Perhaps, I should use Xin Yi's toy windmills to harnest some wind energy to relieve my monthly utilities, especially when the rates are going up again. Next come cab fare, bus fare, MRT fare, endless... maybe I should use the internet less often ... or surf in office instead!
