Not been blogging
I have realised that I have not been contributing as much of late. Perhaps, because we have not been gog too many places to write abt anything interesting.
Last weekend was a quiet one. Made two trips to Unted Square on Sat. Morning, I brought the daughter there to shop around, while the missus was cooking at home. At night, after dinner, when it was rather late and nowhere else to go, the missus suggested to go there. The daughter did not complain, as she had just been introduced on the interactive games at Utd Sq. Some buttons on the wall which she could press and there would be sounds made from the animals shown. Any way, I met my Hall 2 mate Kian Hui with his missus and 5mth old daughter. The last I bumped into him, which was three months ago, was at Vivo City. Both shopping areas - we Singaporeans seem to run out of places that we have to go shopping. Of course, you would not go back empty handed, and this was no exception. Bought four shirts/pants for the daughter for less than $30, and these were from Fox. Gd bargain.
The following day, wanted to go Qian Hu for sth different but the plan was spoilt by the kind weather. We went Vivo City in the evening for dinner and wanted to get one small rice cooker - small enuf for three bowls of rice. The current one was too big and the rice cooked was sub-optimal - large chunk was burnt. This time round, we found sth interesting - the Pet Safari which was a pet shop. Daughter was quite fascinated by the rats and hamsters running in their treadmills. I was suggested to the missus that since she likes animals so much, we should bring her to the mini zoo, or whatever they call that, in East Point at Simei, but she said the aroma there would be too overwhelming.
I enclose a photo of myself with the daughter taken at Vivo. Rare occasion that I wore the all blacks adidas shirt, and also rare that i took photo with the daughter. if my mate Su Hock sees this, he would ask me how come i have not gone to the barber and join his ranks!
Just hope the weather would be better on Sunday. Cun go on Saturday cos the missus has been arrowed to go for the company's corporate retreat.
