Xin Yi commenced class at Child Care Centre

We had enrolled the daughter to a child care centre in the neighbourhood. Half day session, and she had to wake up earlier than usual. Since last week, the missus had cultivated her the habit of sleeping earlier, so as to wake up on time for class. Three days had passed and the signs are encouraging. We were quite apprehensive whether she would be able to adjust to this schedule.

Understand from my mum that she enjoyed her lessons so far. She even stayed back for lunch. Though she did not eat much and had to go home for her usual share of porridge, at least she was able to blend in with the rest and ate things which we would deem as not so tasty/attractive for her. Well, if she was able to try new stuff, then our meals out would be easier - at least more options.

Heard from missus (who was there with her on the first day) that she is the oldest and tallest there. Guess i would take a day leave to see how she is learning in the childcare centre. Perhaps take a few shots and post it in the blog.

Missus has been down with flu/sore throat for the past few day. Seems rather bad. Looks like we would have to postpone the Qian Hu trip (which I had promised the daughter earlier) till she recovers.
