Testimonies

For those frequent readers, you would know that i am one that always sing praises of my job and pay, and of course the wonderful place where i work.

Despite some bad times, there were two frank remarks from fellow colleagues which made my day.

First, one of the Principal Engineering Officers said that "if all senior engineers are as hands-on as you", while the other, a Deputy Manager told me that he felt that i deserve a better renumeration that what i got in the recent annual salary review exercise. For the record, my pay cheque increased by the smaller blue colour note, cos i have reached my ceiling and i was deemed not deserving for promotion this year.

Sometimes, these words really help to lift one's mood. I wonder what happened to the letter i sent to a certain MNC. Too bad they are not priviledged to the above testimonies. If not, surely they would wish to talk to me!
