Morning trip to Botanic Gardens

The daughter somehow woke up earlier than usual on the Labour Day hols. Not sure if it was due to her body tuning to a school day. The missus decided that we should make a trip to our favourite spot - Botanic Gardens to feed the fishes, since the daughter was asking for that the other day.

So after b/f, we grabbed the excess bread and hopped onto a cab and reached there at 10 odd, which was rather unusual considering that we were there on 5 to 6pm after daughter woke up from nap. But this was a refreshing change, and in fact it was better as we got more time to walk around - and we did - to the Cactus garden. The daughter was rather curious with these plants, and missus quickly drew reference to an episode of Elmo's World (from VCD) whereby a spikey (muppet) cactus spoke to Elmo.

Itwas also the first time she saw the giant rotating sphere water feature. Seeing so many kids were playing with that, she decided to have a touch as well (of course with mummy's help). Missus told me that one ang moh kid actually sipped the water! I am sure most Singaporean parents (incl myself) would not tolerate that for sure!
