Workplan Seminar

I met my secondary school classmate GY last Friday in the Workplan Seminar. We worked for the same organisation. He is a civil engineer by training.

The following is our conversation during tea-break, which i personally found it amusing:

KW : So, GY, your project (the famous one ... near SMU) just finished, so where are you working now?
GY : Honestly, I have no idea. I was asked to work on this new line, then this new expressway. Seems like I have been wanted everywhere!
KW : Wow, that's good... this shows that you are in great demand, so your job is very secure, and with the CE praising you in his email, your promotion would come soon!
GY : Yah, but ....
KW : BUT, you are LOOKING FOR JOB?
GY : Wah lau ... How come you would know? In fact, I found one, but had turned down cos' the terms are not right. Still looking

He is not the only one. I believe many have done so. I wonder with the recent annoucement to have new line, would this trend reverse?
