Facebook

Of late, "facebook" has been gaining popularity, and it was only two weeks back that i started to receive invitation/request to confirm whether so-and-so is my friend. Suddenly, I have got in touch with several frens whom i had not been seeing for quite some time :
- Lai Yin my fellow OMC committee member from Hall 2
- Ignatius my platoon mate who is now a doc in London
- Kartik my ex colleague from Tower A who is now pursuing a PhD in Georgia Tech
and several others... all in all i have 8 frens, and hopefully counting.

It seems to be a good way to get in touch with many others, where there would be thumb nails of your frens' photos (Chris' trip to Kerala in India and Woon Wee's baby gal) which you could open one by one and also see whom they are "frens" with, and you may get in touch with another. I had told Lai Yin that i would be too occupied for such thing, even maintaining this blog took some efforts, but i guess there dun seem be other better ways to stay in touch with others - when all of us busy.

So with 8 frens, i would hope to build this circle by pulling more pple in. Already awaiting for Boon Cheong to confirm that he is my friend.

As for this blog, dun think there would be any travel photos to show this year. The trend of two hols a year would have to stop, sadly. The adverts in the paper is really enticing. Too bad... :{
