Udon noodles
Two Saturdays ago, we went to jalan at Marina Sq where we went to Sakae for lunch. Told the daughter that we would be heading to the place with the conveyor belt and immediately she recalled that she had fries served from the fire engine! (kid's meal). So, naturally she was fascinated with the suggestion and gave her "approval".
Her foray to jap food had so far been confined to Ramen, so the missus thot it was time we introduced another type of noodles to her, i.e. Udon. I was a bit concerned that she might be taken aback by the fatter Udon (she had not turned down mee-pok and kway teow so far). But perhaps the venue played a part, having this endless row of sushi gog around seemed to interest her.
We were obviously delighted, and so much so that we took up a $30 membership which came with vouchers and discounts. Got to make her take the fried chicken from the fire engine someday.
Very chosey, right? She was spoilt ... and we have to take our share of responsibility ...
