Macau Trip - Part 2

Day 3 - Idle Day

The itenary for the day was suggested by missus - took the hotel's coach to New Yaohan which is next to the ferry terminal in town, and then to the chinese restaurant at Casa Real Hotel for lunch. We stayed in that hotel on the last trip, and went to the New Yaohan couple of times, as it was nearby.

Top: McDonald's
Bottom: At New Yaohan - Arcade and Supermarket, note the two friends on the trolley who had made their way from S'pore!

The daughter was happy and excited, probably we told her that we would be gog shopping and she could get to see (and likely - BUY) toys and as well as spending time as the game arcade. She was in good mood, and which could have been the reason she attempted the McDonald's hotcake and hashbrowns without much coaxing. We had tried that in Singapore but she simply refused to eat. Perhaps a child, like adults, tend to be game for new things while on holidays.

Actually, we could have better b/f than Mc. All if not becos of the p/p thing, which prevented myself from capitalising on the Spring Break offer from the Venetian. We could have gotten daily buffet b/f and gondola rides for FREE.

Our short excursion ended early and we were back in the hotel by 3 plus. Thereafter, R&R we were back to the Food Court for dinner. Again, we have sio-bak, and it must have been our fourth serving there. My parents felt that it tasted better here. I wondered why. Was it pschological? But i could see that they were pleased, perhaps i din scold the daughter this time round. In previous trips, there would be unpleasantness. (How it occurred? Usually with the daughter throwing a tandrum -> i scolded her if worse flared up -> and all three other faces would turn.)

Before we retreated to our room, one final round of shopping of almond cookies and lao-po-bing. Fortunately missus managed to pack all stuff in the check-in or hand-held luggages easily.

I took some night shots of the hotel. Isn't the hotel impressive?

Day 4 - Coming home

Daughter was again in a good mood, and was keen to take photos (for past few days, always "siam-ed" when i took out my phone). BTW, the one below was the only pic which we took together. Apart from the reason i just mentioned, perhaps there were not that many sights we visited. In fact, no where was new. Otherwise, we could not have achieved our aim of making it really free and easy, isnt it?
