Dance Class

We had enrolled the daughter for a dance class at Sengkang CC, which is near my workplace, and which is not near from home. To reach there, we have to walk to the station, and take a 18min train ride, and this really takes quite a bit of effort, and to the extent one would question whether it is really worth it. I have to admit that the fee is really affordable, but the real driver is that there is no such class near home, at the time slot we want - Sat or Sun. So after a thorough search at the PA website, we managed to locate this class which would run for 8 weeks, each session @ 45min. For the record, the fee is $85.
The first class was on last Saturday, and the daughter was very excited, waking up early w/o much perstering (which is unusual!). We reach there early and waited a while for the teacher or instructor. Gradually more kids came with their parents, and it appeared that the daughter was one of the taller (and possibly older) ones in her class. Once the door was opened, she was one of the fast to go in, and she immediately took up a spot in front w/o even taking a look at us asking mummy to go in with her. That eliminated our fear that she might have difficulty adjusting herself to the new environment. Perhaps the time at childcare centre does great help.

Missus stayed throughout the class, sitting behind with rest of the parents. From what she said, and the anxiety in which the daughter shared her stories (learning animal movements, etc), i could see that she really enjoyed herself. Maybe she likes the place because of its wall-mirror, sth like what she watched in the barbie movies.
As we look forward to the class on the next seven saturdays, one question missus and i have are where for lunch? given the daughter's picky diet, options are limited 8[
