A meeting of old comrades

The five of us met at Bedok mess on Monday. Three former engineers, Contractor and User. Our working r/s extended for more than 10 yrs. Meng Lee took over the Project G on late '96 when his predecessor left, i took over from him in '99 and then Chin Kok took over from me on May 02 when i tendered. The makan was courtesy of Mike who had just promoted, and it was a good occasion for us to catch up, update one another of what we have been doing and also of some mutual colleagues.

I missed Bedok quite a lot. Though the vehicles were quite a headache, i enjoyed working with the team, and there was always the mess where we could relax. Sometimes, i even jogged there on the evening at the 400m track before heading to the mess for the beer and chicken bits.
