Cup Cake Fun

During the PH last week, we had another baking session at home, this time round we baked butter cup cakes instead of the usual cookies. To make it more interesting, we bought a tube of pink sugar icing to decorate the cakes so that it would appear to be more appealing for the daughter.
We got this pack of pre-mix from Cold Storage, some Australia brand known as Green's. Just need to add 2eggs, some milk and butter, mix them up and you got the dough (or is there some better term?). Fairly easy, and as we have only one mould, we had to bake twice. Twelve cupcakes in total. Apart from icing, the daughter got to sprinkle some "fairy" (a term borrowed from fairy donuts) to add some colour.
Missus and myself tried our artistic skills in creating some shapes with the icing (spot the heart and the smiley?) but it was far from optimal. But i had to say the cakes really tasted good. Not sure if it was due to us getting the right timings or the credit went to the mix itself. But the daughter seemed to have enjoyed herself having fun with mixing and stirring), and we would definitely try it again.
