We would miss the Croc Hunter

It was sad to learn yesterday on the passing of Steve Irwin. Had a shock when I received the email from my missus where she had included a web-link to the Sydney Morning Herald of the shocking news. From the Croc Hunter and Croc Files, Steve Irwin had educated us on wild life in an entertaining manner. It was because we found his programme so interesting that we have included the Australia Zoo in our Queensland itenary in May. http://kokweng-and-family.blogspot.com/2006/06/day-6-australia-zoo.html
Yes, you may have read that I grumbled that the journey from Brisbane was long, and the tix were not cheap. But I am glad that we were there and appreciated the zoo and the animals there, while he was alive. It is doubtful that you could find another wildlife theme park Down Under to match the scale of the Australia Zoo.
