Square Two

Singapore does not seem to be running out of new places for pple like me to jalan around and spend some monies. The new shopping mall in town is Square Two which is near my place.
The same building houses the Novena Medical Centre and is situated between Novena Sq and TTSH. This adds to the cluster of Utd Sq and Novena Sq - both having been renovated recently.

The whole place is rather quiet and there is no archor tenant except if you count Fairprice located at level 4. It is by no means a match with the two Cold Storage stores at the other two buildings and I think my dad, being such a Fairprice supporter, would not be impressed either. Most shops are not opened, and the internal building facades have not been completed. The biggest joke is that the link way with Novena Sq was blocked for some reason, and the quickest way to commute is to take an escalator down from Novena Sq to the MRT station, and then take the lift up Sq Two! They better do something else we would have to feel sorry for the tenants unless the good landlord could expedite the works quickly.

The worst part was the smell in level four food court, which i believe is Fork & Sppon under Koufu. The smell from cooked food did not seem to be able to get its way out of the building and entrapped in the floor. The whole family - me, missus and even teh daughter were complaining of the smell. In fact the daughter could not wait to leave there. Luckily we had dinner at home, else had to march back to Novena Sq for dinner.

Any way on the above, I have already dropped them an email. Hopefully food court mgt an dthe land lord could find a solution, else we would have to feel sorry for the tenants again.
