Donuts

My father came back this evening from Raffles City with his prized supper for the grand-daughter. A dozen of dounts ($11) from the Donut Factory. You know how long did he queue for his turn? 2h 15min! It was to fulfill a promise they made to buy for Xin Yi, who loves those sugared and "fairy" type - a term i borrowed from Hi-5 for those sprinkled with colourful sugar rice.

My parents actually joined the queue on Sunday but after one hour or so, and knowing that it would be another 30min at least for their turn, they gave up in their turn in order to meet us for dinner at Plaza Sing. We thot the Q today would be shorter - but wrong, there were many students.

Though i am not particularly fond with donuts, but i would very much want to try those from Vinco which is at Vivo City. But really, judging from the daughter's lukewarm response to those high-end flavour, i guess the more traditional ones suit her taste better.
