Cousin's visit

My maternal cousin from Jakarta visited us last week, enroute to Genting and KL. The group of 7 included his three children, the youngest, a daughter, being only 20mth. We were quite amazed by her diet - she practically took everything what her mother did - such a contrast from our child (see earlier entry ... sigh)

Anyway the daughter was quite excited because she had a "mei-mei" who would follow her and keep calling her "jie-jie", but of course there were not so pleasant moments when they went for the same toy. It was interesting to see how she behaved, like teaching the young girl how to play a toy and giving instructions at times. It somehow elevated her position and she has assumed responsbility as someone elder.

Of course, when they finally went back the daughter was quite sad, and not unexpected threw a tantrum... too bad they stayed pretty far though a 1 and half flight, and Valueair flies there... maybe someday we would visit them.
