Strolling along the Bay

Last Sunday, we took a bus to Fullerton for our Sunday jalan... I suggested to go to the Merlion Park to immerse ourselves in the NDP mood, since we would not be attending the parade nor the fireworks. Wanted to bring the daughter to see the Merlion but she somehow refused to go near there... then we strolled along the Esplanade towards the Esplanade where i was quite amused to see so many Singa standing guard along the sidewalk towards the Floating Platform... i dunno who in gahmen had decided to send this courtesy mascot back in action as you could see them everywhere- MRT stations, shopping malls, etc.

It was quite a festive mood there, some jazz group performing at the Outdoor Theatre, and then indoors at the Concourse there is this lady Dawn Fung performing songs with her guitarlele, which was quite nice. The daughter seemed mesmerised, and the son was quitely listening too... his first exposure to the Arts, i supposed.
