Playing UNO

I was quite amazed with the pple at UNO for creating so many variants of the simple game. The last i knew that they had tied up with the pple at Disney to create one Disney Princess series for kids. As you can see here, the daughter was introduced to this game by the missus, and after several months, she seems to get the hang of it. Now there is no need for us to close one eye and let her win the game. Through the process, she has cultivated the ability to get herself organised (arranging the cards categorily) and respond/react more quickly.

What prompted me to write this, was because i lost to her this evening, but i have no qualms with it. Afterall, in a game, you either win or lose... and this is another learning point. The daughter has to accept that she does not win on all occasions... Though she has not been always gracious when she is on the losing end, we could see that there has been improvement, and to me, this is the most important gain from the game
