Changi Village trip

I mentioned in the previous entry, we went to Changi Village as a side trip.
We took MRT and bus, it was a pretty long journey. could have been shorter, but the daughter was quite adverse to long trips on bus, thus we had to arrange as such

By the time we reached there, it was the son's milk time near noon, and we only started walking along the coastal walk when it was high noon! pretty warm, but fortunately the coastal walk was quite shaddy thus we were not BBQ... daughter kind of like the walk, said the wave reminded her of Ariel!

Due to it was close to lunch time, we had to head back, din get the chance to try the International Nasi Lemak. i would surely be back again.

Yah, actually we were thinking of staying at the Changi Village Hotel, but decided against it because it was quite rundown and there isn't much things to do there, unless we venture to Ubin.

Changi Village retains its old charm, just like what it was 30yrs ago when my dad booked the gahmen chalets then. of course the jetty is much nicer, but still it has this rustic ambience which no where in Singapore could match. i just hope it would retain this way..

see even the shops there sell masar which we used to play in yester years...
