Day 3 at Macau

This morning, I had planned to visit the A-Ma Temple and then travelled to teh island of Taipa to visit the old Taipa Village which has a food street. However, my parents felt it was a bit too far, and we went to the Macau Tower instead.

As the MAcau Maritime Museum was nearby, we popped in for a while, and Xin Yi was keen to to try the wheel of a marine vessel. There was a bit of intereactive stuff and the set up gave her the impression that we were in the Science Centre.

Thereafter we went to the Macau Tower whcih was not far away. We had lunch at the chinese restaurant and then paid MOP70 each (around S$14) to go to the Viewing Deck which is 58 level. Damn high and my mum could not adapt well and sat on the bench most of the time. Xin Yi was too young to be afraid and we just ran around and saw many boats, which she called them "baby-chuan"(meaning small ships). Then we went another three levels up to see the daring pple who walked along the perimeter. Too bad there were no pple trying the bungee-style "Sky Walker".

After that, we went back to hotel, where Xin Yi rested. After dinner at night, we went Sands, while Xin Yi and my parents went to New Yaohan. Down there, me and missus lost MOP10 at the fruit machines, but it was an interesting experience. You would be just amazed how big it is.

Oh yes... I didn went to the Macau Wine Museum and Grand Prix Museum. Nothing spectacular but got to taste a glass of Portugese white wine. Too bad it is heavy otherwise would bring back cos; realy cheap.
