Botanic Gardens on Saturday

We went to the Botanic Gardens on Sat evening. Fortunately the drizzle stopped at abt 5pm. For the first time we bought a full loaf of bread - the Sunny bread $1 giant loaf. But somehow, it was not really that much, cos the fishes seemed very hungry. Perhaps not many visitors were there during the festive season. This time round, the daughter did a "first" when she ran on the grass to feed the birds (which were not very keen to to eat the roti). She used to dislike walking on grass, but this had somehow changed this year after gog to school. I dunno what contributed, but we were pleased that she had overcome it.
We din bring the stroller, as missus said otherwise she would be too comfortable sitting there. Initially she walked quite a fair bit, but then missus decided to carry her up a slope. But this meant more streneous for us cos she refused to walk for most of the journey to Tanglin Mall. So missus and i had to take turn for the long "march". Not an easy one, carrying a 3yr old child. I kept saying to my parents that they should also abstain from that as well, cos i am wondering those Glucosamine tablets which i religiously took everyday would help. The two kneecaps had been tormented by my running during NS and uni... now the agony still goes on...
