post CNY thot

Well, the CNY hols came and went ... after all the buzz - cleaning, throwing things, buying new clothes (for once in many yrs, i actually got sth frm head to toe)... finally it is more or less done with. This yr, missus and myself agreed to close one eye and not to set a difficult target which we cun achieve. So, some parts of the rooms are not cleaned, likewise for the kitchen, etc... we just have to be realistic, after all age is catching up and u dun fight a battle (with you body) which you would never win.

Actually we bought the OSIM Iecologi with big hope that it could do wonders. But... it cun half the time i need to vacuum and mop the floors (a twice weekly affair). However, it did help in removing hard stains in the toilets and kitchen. But it is a high price we paid - yours truly is now serving the monthly installments for a yr. Hopefully with more practice, i could speed things up a little bit so as to realise its full potential.

In terms of soaking in the festive mood, well we scored badly this yr. Din go Chinatown nor Marina Bay to join the crowd; yet to indulge in poker card games with my cousins; nor drinking with them as well. I guess one thing which really delighted me was the goodies... in fact as i typed, i am drinking wine (alone of course) and munching mini spring rolls packed with pork floss. Excellent. Of course the missus (who is sound asleep) would be damn pissed with me for such unhealthy act. Well, sometimes you allow yourself to indulge a bit and burn off the fats and calories elsewhere ... onething for sure ... need to do the daily area cleaning tmr...
