CNY shopping
We did last minute shopping these two days. First, it was OG Orchard. Boy, the jam at Orchard Road was horrible, and we were fortunate that we were in bus 124 instead of a taxi. Just imagine the number clicking on the meter, my heart may just pause for a moment. We should have taken the train instead.
Anyway, all three of us got sth from there. The daugher got a pair of shoes, the missus has red Levis shirt, whereas i got a new check shirt (how exciting 8 ). We had dinner at the Mushroom Pot. Really sth different and missus and myself were wondering if the daughter would like the soup which has a very strong mushroom taste (what else, right...) . While seeing ourselves dumping and scooping the meats and veg from the pot, she also wanted to try herself. Of course, we relented. Btw, that photo of yours truly was from her... not too bad right?

This afternoon, we made her skipped nap cos'she has a ballet trial class at Dance Act at Funan Mall. Missus came across it while lunching there and the pple there were kind to offer trial class instead of making us to sign up the course which is not cheap (12 weekly session of 45min price at S$180, excluding constume). It was fun at 1st, when she tried the constume tiu-tu but then when she went in, she was overwhelmed by the loud music. She also din follow the instructions from the teacher, and went to mummy at the 1st opportunity when the teacher paused to get some admin stuff sorted. So, it was a 15min lesson... then we went the new Central Mall at Clarke Quay. Missus got a blouse from GG<5,>

I would say the thing of Central Mall which strikes me most was the atrium architecture which utilised lots of sky light (so more air-con -> very environmental UN friendly) and the river front setting, especially the contrasting colours of the Clarke Quay facade really provided a good photo-taking point. The daughter was also exicted of seeing so many boats there. She even did those ballet moves at the foyer, but i am not gog to post them here... anyway, enjoy the pics.
