Marylene's B'day Party

On Saturday, we went to the Civil Service Club to attend the party of Yong Xiang's daughter, Marylene, who is celebrating her 2nd b'day. Knowing that the buffet spread would not be to the child's liking, the missus cooked soup, prawn and meat, and we brought everything there in a thermo flask. Sad to say, the child was too enrgossed seeing the children running around, and told us she was full when it was not even half yet. Mummy - thanks for the efforts!
There were many children, rather mainly children. Among them, Xin Yi is familiar with my cousin's boy, Fang Zhe, and Yong Xiang's nephew, Ryan, as they had played together during the CNY visit. Xin Yi had her first try on the arcade game (of couse no coin slotted), running around with the boys from one corner to another.

My cousin Rong Wei also brought his 10 mth old daughter, Eloiuse. It was our first time carrying her and she seemed to be quite ok with us. As you can see from the pic, the missus was obviously quite delighted playing with our niece. Though having had experience carrying a a child, somehow i seemed to lose touch as in i forgot that a young child like her need to be fully supported for fear that she may lose her balance. Perhaps I had got so used with a grown up toddler.

Btw, Marylene like Xin Yi was also a Barney fan. So needless to say, the cake was also Barney! So you see, Prima Deli was rather clever with this business linkup. At least two B'day cakes were from Barney. Of course, mine was not included.
