Singapore River Run

Went for the Singapore River Run on Wed evening at Singapore River (of course!) with four other colleagues. The run was organised by the Civil Service Club in promotion of healthy lifestyle. The run started from Empress Place, next to Indochine, and we went "upstream"of the river all the way to Gallery Hotel at Robertson Quay and returned from the other bank. It took me about half and hour - not bad, but this fared miseably with the timings by the top3 16min+. But considering these were from the Gurkha police officers, so my timing was not too bad. But again, the ladies champion clocked 20min...

Whether good or bad, it was a good way of relaxing. How often would one enjoy to run along S'pore River on a weekday afternoon when the weather was not too sunny, with lots of company. Moreover, I met Adrian. He was a mate from Hall 2; my fellow OMC memberand i had not seen him for a while.
