Excursion to Health Zone

This morning, we made the daughter woke up very early for school. 7.45am - nothing to be proud of, but this was the earliest since her very first day! Why early because the child care centre wanted us to reach there before the bus left at 8.30am for Health Zone - which is at the Health Promotion Board. Thankfully, we din face much problem, and both missus and myself worked on clockwork routine to make sure we reached there on time.

It was the first time both of us took leave to go excursion with her, and she was certainly pleased. I would not say that the programme was that exciting, and we could tell that she had enjoyed herself, except for the part where the guy there performed the show on dental health. The puppets certainly were not her favourite, and she failed to lift her head despite coaxing from missus and the teachers. But we were delighted to see her standing up and volunteered for a game. It was the type of courage which we like to see. Definitely a good start compared to mum and dad who were more timid at her age.
ps1: at the urge of the missus, i had a go at the BMI machine whichmeasures your weight and height and subsequently computs whether you aredeemed to be over or under weight. No guess for knowing what was the result...
ps2: saw the nurse in blue uniform in one of the photos? this young ladyreally lacked the experience and know-how to deal with kids. She couldactually say such things " what must you do after brushing your teeth? You must gurgle, remember dun swallow the water... you =have to 'pui' the waterto the basin" - maybe half teh children would not know what is gurgle...and there must be definitely a better word than 'pui', say split?
